SHEEX Athlete David Oliver Starts the 2013 Track Season with a Win
SHEEX Athlete David Oliver took off to a fast start in the 2013 Track and Field season by winning the 110 Meter Hurdles in 13.48 (ranked number 4 in the world) at the Florida Relays. Oliver’s next race will be the Bahamas Invitational and his 2013 goal is to qualify for the World Championships in Moscow this summer where the 2008 Olympic Bronze Medalist is aiming to reclaim his place on the podium. SHEEX Olympic Trials Spotlight: Hyleas Fountain and David Oliver
SHEEX Athlete Ambassadors Hyleas Fountain and David Oliver will step up to the line at the Olympic Trials later this week to race for positions on the 2012 U.S. Olympic Team that will compete in London. Both athletes are members of the SHEEX sponsored Track and Field Athletes Association (TFAA) whose aim is to support, educate and guide athletes through their professional careers. Fountain and Oliver headline the over 60 Olympic Trials qualifiers from the TFAA.
Hyleas Fountain enters the competition as the 2008 Olympic Silver Medalist in the heptathlon. The heptathlon consists of seven track and field events over the course of two days, (100 Meter Hurdles, High Jump, Shot Put, 200 Meters, Long Jump, Javelin, 800 Meters), making it a true test of all-around athletic ability.
David Oliver is the American Record Holder in the 110 Meter Hurdles, with a time of 12.89, and one of the favorites heading into the Trials to make the Olympic Team.

2012: An Eye on the SHEEX Athlete Team
The SHEEX Athlete Team is having a year filled with success. The growing team of athletes and the Olympic Year makes this collective of World-Class Athletes an inspiration to the SHEEX family and fans.
We have three new track and field athletes on board. Danielle Carruthers (100m Hurdles) and TFAA Athletes Hyleas Fountain (Heptathlon) and David Oliver (110m Hurdles). All are hopefuls to make the U.S. Olympic Team and win medals at the games in London this summer.

Mirinda Carfrae placed 3rd at Ironman Melbourne on March 25th and again placed 3rd in the New Orleans 70.3 Triathlon on April 22nd.
Becky Morgan shot 7 under par at the LPGA Mobile Tournament on April 27th.
