Meet Team SHEEX Athlete Danielle Carruthers
With the London Olympics being held this summer, 2012 looks to be an exciting year for our family of SHEEX Sleep Ambassadors, several of whom are looking to earn spots on the U.S. Olympic team.
One is 100-meter hurdler Danielle Carruthers, who not only aspires to make the team but also figures to challenge for a medal. Last year, Danielle was ranked second in the world and was the silver medalist at the IAAf World Championships held in Daegu. These accomplishments are only the latest in a successful career in highlighted by championships at both the collegiate and professional levels.
As a world-class athlete, Danielle relies on intense training and a holistic approach to preparation as she pursues her Olympic dreams.
“To perform at my best, I eat right, train and make sure to rest my mind and body,” Danielle says. “Sleep and proper rest are critical to performance. I can’t wait to get to my bed and jump into my SHEEX every night.”
