SHEEX Nation Hall of Fame
Not only are you connoisseurs of great sleep – you are our biggest supporters. You understand and appreciate the importance of a good night’s sleep and you have leaned (literally!) on SHEEX to help you be healthier and get through your day. We can’t thank you enough! So how do we give back?
We’ve created the SHEEX Nation Hall of Fame to highlight our newest inductees, our best sleepers, our feedback providers, our most vocal fans, yes…YOU! And we will reward each inductee with a FREE SHEEX item!
How to Be Inducted
- Each month we’ll review the posts and comments on our Facebook page.
- We’re not looking for posts that have kudos or spread the SHEEX word. We’re reviewing ANY and ALL posts that are made to the SHEEX Facebook page. If you’re posting, we’ll see you!
- We will pick one person to be inducted into the SHEEX Nation Hall of Fame.
- We will contact the new inductee to let them know they’ve been chosen. Much celebrating will ensue!
I’m Inducted, Now What?
- Inductees will be highlighted on the SHEEX blog and the SHEEX Facebook page. We’ll even swap out our profile pic for a day, if you’re willing to share a photo of yourself.
- You’ll have immediate bragging rights to all of your friends that you’re part of the SHEEX Nation!
- Inductees will be sent a FREE SHEEX item (to be chosen by SHEEX). Due to shipping limitations, all inductees must be in the United States.
Stay tuned each month as we’ll announce the new inductees to the SHEEX Nation Hall of Fame!

Holiday Sleep Tips from the National Sleep Foundation
The holiday season, albeit fun-filled, usually tends to be packed with travel, parties and disruptions to our standard daily routines–all of which have the potential to interfere with sleep. One of our partners, the National Sleep Foundation (http://www.sleepfoundation.org/), has several sleep strategies that can help you get adequate rest during the hustle and bustle of December.
Travel: Bring along objects that remind you of the comforts of home. This can include your favorite blanket or bedding, a pillow and family photographs to recreate your home sleeping environment.
Naps: If you must sleep during the day, limit naps to under an hour and take it before 3:00 pm.
Setting: To create a better sleep environment, make sure your room is dark, quiet, comfortable and cool. A fan or sound conditioner can be used to drown out unwanted noise and you can bring along an eye cover to shut out light, especially if you are trying to sleep while traveling.
Temperature: While the best temperature for sleep varies between people, researchers agree that temperatures over 75 degrees and below 54 degrees Fahrenheit disturb sleep, so set your thermostat or adjust your bedding and clothing to suit the temperature that is most comfortable for you.
Parties: While holiday foods and drinks are tempting at parties, try to finish eating 2-3 hours before your bedtime for better sleep. The same goes for alcohol and caffeine, which are best to avoid before bed.
Exercise: Despite busy schedules, try your best to make time for working out. Exercise won’t just help fight off holiday weight gain, it will help you sleep better, too.
